CSA Scholar Athlete (2020)

As a junior (2019-20)

• Named College Squash Association Scholar Athlete.
• Posted a 6-12 record while competing in every team match from the middle of the ladder.
• Most frequently appeared at No. 6 position, where he recorded an Ivy League victory against an opponent from Brown on Jan .12.
• Won two of three matches in Hoehn Cup play, including a three-game victory in a pivotal semifinal upset of top-seeded Dartmouth.

As a sophomore (2018-19)

• Competed in middle positions of lineup, posting a 3-15 record.
• All three victories came at No. 5 spot, including three-game sweep to help fuel upset of Drexel on Jan. 18.
• Rallied to win in four games during victory over Western Ontario in consolation semifinals of Hoehn Cup.

As a freshman (2017-18)

• Posted a 9-12 record from the Nos. 3, 4 and 5 positions, ranking second on the team in victories and tops among newcomers.
• Started collegiate career with three straight victories against opponents from Williams, Dickinson and Western Ontario during the Cornell Round Robin.
• Punctuated the Big Red's upset victory over Navy on Jan. 31 with a five-game victory at No. 4.
• Won in five against a different opponent from Navy in the season-ending match against Navy on Feb. 25 during Hoehn Cup play.

Prior to Cornell

• One of just 23 US Squash All-Americans following a 2016-17 season in which he posted a perfect 22-0 in his third and final season at Mercersburg Academy.
• Named the squad's most valuable player and to the all-Mid Atlantic Prep League twice.
• Won Ukraine's junior championship in his native country and also served as the junior national team's captain.
• Ranked as high as 10th among juniors in Europe.

• Illia Alexandrovich Presman is the son of Alexander Presman and Nataliia Ignatenko.
• Enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
