Biography
As a junior (2019-20)
• Swam at eight meets for the Big Red as a junior, including the Ivy League Championships.
• Helped Cornell’s 200-yard freestyle relay team post the third-fastest time (1:32.73) in Big Red history at conference meet.
• Individually competed in the 50-freestyle, 100-freestyle, and 200-freestyle at Ivies, notching a season-best in the 50-freestyle (23.64).
• Secured personal-bests in the 100-freestyle (51.96) and 200-freestyle (1:56.99) at Akron’s Zippy Invitational, while adding a season-best in the 100-breaststroke (1:11.27).
• Posted a trio of top-five individual finishes in the Big Red’s victory over St. Bonaventure, finishing third in the 50-freestyle, fourth in the 100-freestyle, and fifth in the 100-breaststroke.
• Placed fourth in the 50-freestyle against Columbia.
• Finished fifth in the 100-freestyle against Binghamton.
As a sophomore (2018-19)
• Swam the ninth-fastest 50 free race in school history (23.50) to score in the B finals of the the Ivy League Championship.
• Was the third leg of the 400 free relay that posted the second-fastest time in Cornell history (3:23.52) and the 200 free relay that ranks No. 3 (1:32.74).
• Took third in the 50 free at the Ithaca Bomber Invitational.
• Had a pair of top three race finishes in dual meets.
• Earned the team's Joseph J. Lucia Team Spirit Award, given to the swimmer or diver who demonstrates passion and commitment to their teammates.
As a freshman (2017-18)
• Made the Ivy League Championship lineup in the 50 and 100 free and the 100 breast.
• Scored in the 100 breast, placing 22nd overall in a lifetime-best 1:09.82.
• Took second in the 50 free in a dual meet against Columbia.
• Was third in the 50 free against St. Bonaventure and in the 100 free vs. Harvard.
• Had top six finishes in both the 50 (sixth) and 100 (sixth) free races at the Ithaca Bomber Invitational.
