As a Junior (2019-20)

• Ran in five cross country meets.
• Finished 50th at Cross Country Heps (11/1).
• Placed 71st at the NCAA DI Northeast Regional Championships (11/15).
 

As a Sophomore (2018-19)

• Ran in three outdoor meets.
• Earned two PRs on the season, one in the 10,000m at the Bison Outdoor Classic (31:17.19, 4/13-14) and one in the 1500m at the Cornell Big Red Invitational (4:02.59, 4/28).
• Finished 21st in the 10,000m at the Ivy League Outdoor Track and Field Heptagonal Championships (5/4-5).
• Ran in five indoor meets.
• Earned two PRs with second-place finishes, one in the mile at the Cornell Sunday Invitational (4:21.98, 2/10) and one in the 5000m at the Marc Deneault Invitational (15:12.79, 2/16).
• Ran in four cross country meets.
• Finished 76th at the Ivy League Cross Country Heptagonal Championships on Oct. 27.
 

As a Freshman (2017-18)

• Throughout the track season, collected three top-five finishes.
• Placed third in the 5000 at the Big Red Outdoor Invitational (15:35.55).
• Finished third in the DMR at the Upstate Challenge (10:33.74)
• Fourth in the mile at the Ithaca Bomber Invitational (4:27.07).
• Appeared in three meets during his first collegiate cross country season, placing 61st in the open race at the Paul Short Run and 85th at the Penn State National Open.
• Continued on to finish 88th at the Ivy League Heptagonal Cross Country Championships.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Ran cross country and track for Hampden Academy.
• Two-time national qualifier
• Four-time Maine state champion
• 15-time conference champion
• 2016 Cross Country Gatorade Player of the Year
• Three-time All-New England
• He also ran 9:14 in the 3200 to place 5th at New Englands, and had a top 10 finish at NB Indoor Nationals as a senior.
• Left Hampden Academy with school records in the indoor track two-mile and mile and the outdoor track 3200m.
 

Personal

• Paul Roy Casavant is the son of David and Donna Casavant. 
• He has two sisters, Chrstin and Aishwarya, and one brother, Ethan.
• Enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
