Biography
As a sophomore (2019-20)
• Rowed on the Cornell E 4+ boat in Flight 1 at the Cornell Autumn Classic, as the team completed the race in 13:06.79.
• Guided the Cornell F 4+ boat to a top-five finish in Flight 2 at the Cornell Autumn Classic, as the team placed fifth with a time of 14:07.80.
• Spring 2020 season canceled due to COVID-19.
As a freshman (2018-19)
• Rowed in five regattas this season, primarily racing on the fourth varsity eight.
• Raced in either the third or fourth seat for most regattas.
• Helped the fourth varsity eight to a third place finish out of four boats against Navy and Syracuse with a time of 5:56.40.
• Rowed on the fourth varsity eight boat at the 2019 EARC Sprints where the team finished third in the Petite Final and ninth overall.
Prior to Cornell
• Earned four varsity letters in sculling and four varsity letters in rowing at Malvern Prep.
• Two-time team captain.
• Earned a total of six gold medals, with back-to-back victories in the boys’ quad at the SRAA National championships, the Philadelphia City Championships, and the Stotesburry Cup (2017, 2018).
• Bronze medalists in the under-19 men’s quad at the 2017 Club National Championships.
• Placed fourth in the men’s youth quad at the 2017 Youth National Championships.
Personal
• Andrew Michael Brady is the son of Michael and Susan Brady and he has one brother and one sister.
• Father, Michael, pitched for Saint Joseph’s University.
• Enrolled in the School of Hotel Administration.
