Biography
As a freshman (2019-20)
• Competed on the Cornell D 8+ boat in Flight 1 at the Cornell Autumn Classic, helping the group record a time of 12:32.28.
• Helped the Cornell C 8+ boat to an 11th place finish among 22 boats in Flight 2 of the Cornell Autumn Classic with a time of 11:54.95.
• Spring 2020 season canceled due to COVID-19.
Prior to Cornell
• Rowed for two years at Shoreham Wading River HS.
• Won gold in the men’s youth single and silver in the men’s youth double at the Long Island Championship.
• Also won gold at the Independence Day Regatta.
• Finished 13th at the Head of the Charles Regatta in the men’s youth single.
• Competed on the Shoreham Wading River HS swim team for four years as well.
Personal
• Joshua Ryan Louser is the son of Kevin and Karen Louser and has one brother and one sister.
• He is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
