Biography
As a junior (2019-20)
• Helped the Big Red frosh novice boat notch a second place finish in Flight 1 at the Cornell Autumn Classic with a time of 12:11.25.
• Rowed on the Cornell C 8+ boat in Flight 2 at the Cornell Autumn Classic, recording a time of 12:14.86.
• Competed on the frosh novice boat in Flight 2 at the Princeton Chase, helping the group finish the race in 15:20.657.
• Spring 2020 season canceled due to COVID-19.
Prior to Cornell
• Ran four years of cross country and played four years of tennis in high school, earning four letters in each sport.
• Four-time varsity cross country MVP, also serving as team captain.
• Two-time New England Preparatory League All-Star.
• Previously attended Brown University and Washington and Lee University.
Personal
• Archer Chiropolos Biggs is the son of Mike Chiropolos and Gretchen Biggs and has one older brother and one younger sister.
• His grandmother, Judy Biggs, is a 1955 graduate of Cornell.
• His mother, Gretchen Biggs, and grandfather both attended Yale; his mother was a member of the tennis team and his grandfather was a member of the soccer and rugby teams.
• His father, Mike Chiropolos, played soccer at Northwestern.
• He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences
