First-Team All-Ivy League (Indoor - 4x800) (2020)
As a Junior (2019-20)
• Ran in six indoor meets for six top-five placements.
• Finished first in the 4x800 at the Greg Page Relays (12/7) and the Ivy League Indoor Heps Championships (2/29-3/1).
• Placed third in the 800 at Indoor Heps.
As a Sophomore (2018-19)
• Ran in five outdoor meets.
• Opened the outdoor season with a first place finish in the 800m at the Titan Team Challenge (3/30).
• Finished the Ivy League Outdoor Heptagonal Championships with a ninth-place finish and a 400m PR of 48.22 (5/4-5).
• Closed out the season with an 800m PR of 1:51.85 and a 13th-place finish at the ECAC/IC4A Outdoor Championships on May 11-12.
• Ran in eight indoor meets.
• Earned eight top-three finishes, including two first place completions.
• Finished first in the 500m at the Greg Page Relays (12/1) and in the 1000m at the Southern Tier Collegiate Invite (1/5).
• Acquired a 1000m PR of 2:34.55 at the Cornell Upstate Challenge on Jan 18-19.
• Closed indoor season with a third place finish and a 500m PR of 1:03.57 at the Ivy League Indoor Heptagonal Championships (2/23-24).
• Ran in one cross country meet; earned a 5k PR time of 16:48.2 at the John Reif Memorial Run (10/19).
• Ran for the tenth-best time in the 500 in program history.
As a Freshman (2017-18)
• Scored at the Outdoor Heps as a member of the 4x800 relay team (7:29.29).
• Took ninth in the 500 meters at the Indoor Heps (1:05.21) and seventh in the 4x800 (7:46.04).
• Won two events, the 600 at the Deneault Memorial Invitational (1:22.11) and the 4x800 at the Southern Tier Collegiate Open (7:54.87).
• Recorded nine top-five finishes.
• Did not compete in any cross country meets.
Prior to Cornell
• HS PR's of 50.3 in the 400, 1:22.8 in the 600 and 1:55.0 in the 800.
• Solomon is a great kid who is just starting to come in to his own as a runner.
• We are confident that he will continue to grow and develop here at Cornell, and that he will be a valuable middle distance runner for the program for years to come.
• Believed to be the first student from his HS to ever attend an Ivy League School.
