Prior to Cornell
• Three-time High School All-American in the 4x400-meter and 4x800-meter relays.
• Helped Whitney M. Young Magnet HS’s 4x400-meter relay team to an IHSA State Championship in 2018.
• Guided her Whitney M. Young Magnet team to four-straight Chicago Public School city titles from 2017-20.
• Won multiple individual Chicago Public School city titles on the track throughout high school.
• Elected team captain during her senior campaign.
• Competed on the club circuit for Hammers Track Club.
Personal
• Alana Reese Berry is the daughter of Mark Berry and Gabrielle Bosley and has two younger siblings.
• She is enrolled in the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning.
