Biography
As a junior (2019-20)
• Joined the Big Red equestrian team as a junior, competing in the intermediate flat and limit fences divisions.
• Competed at five shows over the course of the season, making her collegiate debut at RIT.
• Secured four individual top-three finishes, including her first collegiate victory in limit fences at Nazareth Show #2.
• Had a strong showing at Cornell’s second show against Alfred, placing second in her limit fences and intermediate flat classes.
Prior to Cornell
• Member of the Fairweather Farm equestrian team for four years.
• Competed in 2’ 6”-3’ hunters and jumpers at both local and weighted shows from 2013-17.
Personal
• Elizabeth Koman is the daughter of Igor Koman and Katerina Gurova and has two brothers.
• She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
