Biography
As a senior (2021)
• Served as the team’s primary goalkeeper, making 12 starts and 13 appearances for the Big Red.
• Earned a career-high seven saves against Brown on Oct. 24.
• Posted two shutouts, with her first collegiate clean sheet coming against Syracuse on Sept. 9.
• Saved 52 of the 146 shots she faced for a .703 save percentage and averaged 1.79 goals against.
As a junior (2020)
• Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a sophomore (2019)
• Posted a 2.02 goals against average and .667 save percentage in a pair of appearances.
• Made the most of season's lone start, making two saves in 72 minutes of a shared shutout victory against St. Bonaventure on Sept. 8.
• Came on as a reserve Oct. 5 against Penn, making four saves in 62 minutes.
As a freshman (2018)
• Appeared in two games, debuting with a two-minute cameo to close out Oct. 6 contest at Harvard.
• Made first collegiate start Oct. 9 at Colgate, making six saves in a 2-0 loss.
Prior to Cornell
• Two-time captain for Hamden Hall Country Day School, helping squad compete in Class D New England Championship games three times.
• Named to all-state team following senior season.
• Three-time New England Preparatory School Athletic Council all-star
• Two-time all-league selection and league's Defensive Player of the Year for senior season.
• Class salutatorian and four-year member of honor roll.
• Competed on ECNL club level with Connecticut FC.
Personal
• Miranda Elizabeth Iannone is the daughter of Matthew and Susan Iannone, and she has one brother.
• Enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
