2022-23 I SENIOR SEASON
Went 3-4 overall while wrestling at 157 pounds ... won the Mat Town Open with a 3-0 record, including a 7-0 victory over teammate Cole Handlovic ... wrestled in four dual meets, dropping two in overtime.

2021-22 I JUNIOR SEASON
Was 7-2 overall with a 3-1 dual record in his first season ... was ranked nationally prior to a season-ending injury ... both losses came to NCAA qualifiers ... placed second at the Jonathan Kaloust Bearcat Open.

2020-21 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019-20 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Went 12-3 as a freshman ... took first at the Jonathan Kaloust Binghamton Open ... took first at the Cornell Open ... missed second half of season due to injury

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Was a two-time Colorado state champion while wrestling at Pomona HS before graduating from Jeffco Virtual Academy ... also placed third in the state while posting a cumulative 115-17 record ... two-time NHSCA national champion ... was the 2016 Fargo Freestyle national champion and the 2017 Reno Tournament of Champions title-holder ... took fourth at the 2016 UWW Cadet Nationals in freestyle ... was a two-time Ironman place-winner ... elected team captain twice, leading the team to a pair of state team titles and a runner-up finish ... posted a 17-2 record and won the New York State Intercollegiate and the Mat Town Open.

Colton David Yapoujian is the son of Jonathan and Kara Yapoujian and has three younger brothers ... he is enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
