Prior to Cornell

• Sokol was a three-time state champion at Simley HS.
• Helped his team to three consecutive state titles, captaining each team.
• Earned a spot on the Cadet World Team in 2019.
• Fargo cadet freestyle champion in 2017.
• Was 51-0 in 2019 en route to a state championship.
• State place-winner as a seventh (fifth) and eighth (third) grader.

• Ryan Joseph Sokol is the son of Joseph and Estelle Sokol.
• He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
