As a junior (2019-20)
• Crowned the IHSA Regional Champion in limit flat, qualifying for the Zone 2 Championships.
• A valuable rider for the Big Red in limit flat and limit fences as a junior, competing at eight shows.
• Recorded four individual victories in limit flat over the course of the season, including at three-consecutive shows hosted by Cornell and Nazareth (double-header).
• Also notched a pair of top-three finishes in limit fences at Nazareth Show #1 and Alfred Show #1, placing third in her class at both shows.
• One of six Cornell riders to compete at the prestigious Tournament of Champions, finishing fourth in limit flat.
• Season cut short due to COVID-19.

• Finished first in the Children’s Equitation Finals at the 2016 Marshall & Sterling show.
• Placed second in the Modified Adult Equitation Finals at the 2017 FW-PHA show.
• Finished second in the Children’s Equitation Finals at the 2016 FW-PHA show.
• Has 13 years of equestrian experience.
• Also played three years of field hockey at Briarcliff HS.
Personal
• Liza Deniz Pacchiana is the daughter of Glenn Pacchiana and has three younger siblings, one sister and two brothers.
• Her father, Glenn Pacchiana, attended Cornell.
• She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
