Biography
At Cornell:
Seabrook had an outstanding junior season and is the team’s co-captain for the 2007-08 season. At the indoor Heps, he claimed his second Ivy title, leading his 4x400m relay team to victory and finishing second at 400 meters in 47.85, an indoor school record. A week later the Big Red won their first IC4A team title in over 50 years, Adam ran an electrifying 4x400 leg to spark his team to second place in3:11.13. This effort was the second fastest relay time in Ivy League history. Outdoors, he turned to his signature event, the 400 meter hurdles. At the outdoor Heps he won his third Ivy League title capturing the 400 meter hurdle championships in 51.59. He was instrumental in paving the way for his squads team victory by also finishing third at 400 meters (48.16) and running on both the 4x100 and 4x400 relays, helping those teams to fifth and third places, respectively. He placed fourth at the IC4A’s 400 hurdles in 51.80 and was an NCAA Eastern Regional qualifier finishing 11th in Gainesville, FL in 51.44, the third-best all-time effort ever by a Cornellian. Seabrook currently holds four school records and has won three Heps titles while being named to the All-Ivy team six times. At A. B. Lucas: Seabrook was a member of the Canadian junior national team with a best of 53.07 in the 400m hurdles. He won the OFSAA championship in his junior and senior years. Personal: Adam James Seabrook is the son of David and Cheryl Seabrook, and he has a younger brother.
