PRIOR TO CORNELL
Back-to-back TSSAA DIIA Track & Field State 800-meter Champion (2018, 2019)… guided University School of Nashville’s 4x400-meter relay team to the 2019 TSSAA DIIA State Championship in the event... finished as the individual runner-up at the 2019 TSSAA DIIA Cross Country State Championship, helping his team clinch the state title... helped University School of Nashville to back-to-back runner-up finishes at the TSSAA DIIA Cross Country State Championship in 2017 and 2018... three-time team captain of his high school cross country and track and field teams (2018, 2019, 2020).
PERSONAL
Pelham Bernhard Bergeson is the son of Eric and Amy Bergesen and has one younger brother... his father, Eric, is a Cornell alumnus, having graduated in 1990... his great uncle, Bob Bergesen ’59, and aunt, Susan Bannon ’89, also attended Cornell, with his great uncle running on the freshmen cross country team in 1955... he is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
