PRIOR TO CORNELL
Two-time Indiana state track and field qualifier (2018, 19) at Morgan Township HS... three-time All-Conference performer in the shot put (2017, 18, 19)… earned All-Conference distinction in the discus in 2018... helped Morgan Township to a sectional championship in 2018... guided Morgan Township to three-straight conference titles from 2017-19... competed on the club circuit for L.I.F.T., winning a USATF Youth Outdoor Track and Field Championship in the shot put... played four years of volleyball in high school.
PERSONAL
Ella Joy Bormet is the daughter of Dave and Nicole Bormet... has two older siblings, one brother and one sister... she is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
