2022 I SENIOR SEASON
Honorable mention All-CSFL at quarterback ... fifth in the league in passing yardage (1,072 yards) and sixth in passing touchdowns (seven) ... sixth in total offense (992 yards) ... threw for 208 yards and two touchdowns against Mansfield ... hit on 12-of-25 passes for 100 yards against Penn ... accounted for all four touchdowns (one rushing, three passing) and completed 12-of-18 passes for 192 yards without a turnover in a victory over Chestnut Hill ... threw for 268 yards on 14-of-27 passes with two touchdowns vs. Caldwell ... connected on 13-of-26 passes for 159 yards at Saint Thomas Aquinas ... named to the CSFL All-Academic team.

2021 I JUNIOR SEASON
Rushed for a touchdown and threw three as the Big Red's starter under center ... threw a season-high 231 yards against Caldwell including a completion for 71 yards and a touchdown (10/1).

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Competed in soccer and football while attending Jack C. Hays High School ... named a true walk-on to the Oklahoma football team before transferring to Cornell ... named high school team captain from 2017-2019 ... earned First-Team All-District QB/Punter honors from 2017-2019, Academic All-State in 2019 and was named an All-Central Texas athlete in 2019.

Xavier Roel Martinez is the son of Mario and Marianna Martinez and has one sister, Iliana ... father, Mario, played quarterback at Texas from 1986-88 ... he is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
