2023 | JUNIOR SEASON
Placed 10th in the 8k at the 2023 Yellowjacket XC Invitational (25:28.9) … set a personal best in the 8k, running it in 25:03.9 minutes at the IC4A/ECAC XC Championship … took 58th in the 8k with a 26:03.9-minute run at the Ivy League Heptagonal Cross Country Championships.   

2022 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
Placed 25th in the 6.4k with a 21:34.6 minute run at the Harry Lang Invitational… Claimed 52nd in the 8k with a 26:00.8 minute run at the LHU XC Invitational/ Open… earned a personal best in the 8k with a 75th place 25:11.5 minute run at Lehigh Paul Short Run (College)… Finished 100th in the 8k with a 25:58.4 minute run at the IC4A/ECAC XC Championship… recorded a personal best in the 5k with a 16th place 16:11.8 minute run at the John Reif Invitational.

2021 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Ran in two events during debut season… took 44th in the Paul Short open race with a 25:39.9… finished 16th at the John Reif Memorial with a 16:40.6.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Competed on the 2017 DII State Championship squad (XC)… received All-State (XC) distinctions from 2018-2020… served as team captain (XC) in 2020… Aided in a 2020 Indoor DII State Championship run (T/F)… secured a 2020 3000m DII Indoor Individual State Title (T/F)… earned the 2020 1500m DII Indoor Individual State Championship (T/F)… was granted All-State honors in 2020 (T/F)… achieved high honors in every quarter of his high school stint.

PERSONAL
Andy Joseph O’Brien is the son of Michael and Cathy O’Brien… has one brother… mother was a two-time Olympian in the Marathon... he is enrolled in the college of Arts and Sciences.
