Biography
At Cornell
In her second season riding for Cornell, Kim qualified for the regional championships with her first place finish in Walk-Trot at Hartwick on Oct. 25. She finished fourth at regionals, earning enough points to advance to the beginning Walk-Trot-Canter class for the Ivy League Championships where she finished fifth in her section. In 2007-08, Kim proved to be a valuable addition to the team riding in seven shows for Cornell. Finishing fourth in the walk-trot class at Hartwick, her very first IHSA show, Kim continued to improve through the season earning blue ribbons at both the Cornell Winter Show and Hartwick. Kim ended her season in winning fashion with her first place finish in the walk-trot championship class at the Ivy League championship.
Personal
Ji-Min Kim is the daughter of Dr. Sang-Il and Seung-Hee Yang. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
