Biography
At Cornell:
Julie is a four-year member of the equestrian team and competes in the open classes. As a sophomore and junior, she was named the region's reserve high-point champion. She has competed at the regional and zone championships each of the past two seasons. In addition to competing as an individual at the regional championships, she also earned team points at the event, competing in the open flat. As a sophomore, she competed in the Cacchione Cup class at the regionals after placing seventh in the open fences. Julie is enrolled in Cornell's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
About Canter:
Julie has been riding for 11 years and has competed at the Medal/Maclay level. She attended Spakenkill High School, where she played one year on the tennis team.
Personal:
Julie Dara Canter is the daughter of Joel and Beverly Canter. Born: 9-21-80.
