Gentilini had a strong start to her collegiate career, appearing in six shows for Cornell and earning the title of Ivy League high point rider champion. In her first ever IHSA show, she rode her way to a solid second place finish in Novice Fences at the Tournament of Champions on Sep. 21. In her very next show, Gentilini took home the blue ribbon in the Intermediate Flat class, her first time riding at that level. At Morrisville on Nov. 16, Gentilini earned third place finishes in both Novice Fences and Intermediate Flat helping the Big Red claim their first victory of the season, and she secured her first win in the Fences class at Skidmore on Nov. 22. Gentilini finished the season with an impressive showing at the Ivy League Championships where first place finishes in both of her classes earned her spots in the finals and in the high point rider ride-off. Gentilini's success continued as finished third overall in Novice Fences, and won the ride-off, earning the title of high point rider of the day.

Justine M Gentilini is the daughter of Larry and Kristin Gentilini, she has one younger sister. She is currently enrolled in the School of Hotel Administration.
