Biography
At Cornell:
Kate is in her third season competing for the Big Red and her third season as an open division rider. She qualified for the regional championships as a sophomore in the open flat class. She is one of the team's most consistent riders and was among the top five high point riders in the region all of last year. She will look to qualify for the regional and zone championships this year. Kate is enrolled in Cornell's College of Arts and Sciences.
About Cornell:
Kate is an experienced horsewoman, having qualified for several regional and national competitions. She placed seventh in the New England Horseman's Council finals and was 10th in the nation. She was a three-time qualifier for the AHSA medal finals as well as the ASPCA Maclay regionals, PHA medal finals and the CHJA medal finals. A graduate of Greenwich High School, Kate also played doubles on her school's tennis team.
Personal:
Kate Elizabeth Cornell is the daughter of Charles and Priscilla Cornell and has two younger brothers. Born: 4-25-81.
