As a senior (2019-20)
• Served as one of the team’s two co-captains during her senior campaign.
• IHSA Regional qualifier in the intermediate flat and limit fences divisions.
• Competed in nine shows over the course of the season, recording eight top-three individual finishes.
• Won her limit fences class at Cornell’s first home show of the season, also adding a third place finish in intermediate flat.
• After a third place finish in limit fences at Cornell’s second home show of the season, moved up to the intermediate fences division.
• Also pointed out of intermediate flat and into open flat after notching a pair of top-three finishes in the division at back-to-back shows at Nazareth.
As a sophomore (2017-18)
• Finished second in her novice over fences class and fifth overall at the Ivy League Championships.
Prior to Cornell
• Competed at several shows throughout high school, varying from the A circuit to local schooling shows in the 2'6-3ft equitation division.
• Qualified and showed at the Marshall and Sterling Finals in Saugerties in 2015.
• Regularly volunteered for a therapeutic riding program called HOOPH.
• Co-captain of her high school's varsity soccer team as a senior.
Personal
• Caracappa has two siblings, a twin brother Jonathan and an older brother Stephen.
• She is the daughter of Dr. Valerie Venterina.
