Biography

As a Sophomore (2014-15)
Rice earned a reserve championship in Intermediate Fences at the Ivy League Show. She also qualified for the Regional Show, where she finished seventh in Novice Fences.

Before Cornell
Rice was an Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) team member at Livonia for two years. She was the USPC Training Level Dressage National Champion in 2012 and the the Syracuse PHA Winter Series .95m Jumper Champion in 2013. 

Personal
Marissa Lynne Rice is the daughter of George and Nancy Rice, who are both Cornell graduates. She has an older sister, Kristen, who is a student at the University at Buffalo. Rice is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
