Biography

Before Cornell
Steinberger was distance swimmer for her high school varsity team for four years. She advanced to the Top 8 finals for three consecutive years in the Ivy Preparatory League and was an Eastern Championship finalist while serving as captain her senior year.

Personal
Sofia Jean Steinberger is the daughter of David Steinberger and Dara Caponigro. She has a younger brother. Her grandfather, Harry Gold, attended Cornell. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
