Biography
At Cornell:
Zoe has been a solid rider for the Big Red since her freshman year and is now in her fourth year competing for the team. As a rookie, she won the open fences at the Ivy Invitational. Last year, she tied with teammate Julie Canter as the region's reserve high-point rider. She qualified for the regional championships in both the flat and fences and advanced to the zone championships in the over fences class. A student in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Orecki was an Academic All-Ivy League pick as a junior.
About Orecki:
Zoe has been riding for the past 14 years and continues to compete in the adult hunter and Ariat medal classes. She was the year-end champion junior hunter in 1995 and 1996 within both the Capital District Hunter/Jumper Council and Tri-County Riding Association. She also competed in the zone II hunter finals with her large junior in 1996. She has competed in the ASPCA Maclay regional competitions and in the 1998 AHSA National Hunt Seat Medal final. Zoe attended Guilderland Central High School.
