Biography
At Cornell
Riding in seven shows for the Big Red, Sherman competed in both the Intermediate Flat class and the difficult Open Fences class her junior season. A third place finish in Intermediate Flat at the Cornell Spring Show on Feb. 22, earned her enough points to compete at the Regional Championships, where she finished eighth overall. Sherman opened her sophomore season strong with three-straight top three finishes in 2007-08. She placed in intermediate flat, and followed with a third place finish in fences at Morrisville the weekend of Nov. 17th. That successful weekend qualified her to compete at the regional championships, where she placed fifth in intermediate fences.
Personal
Heather Sherman is the daughter of Neil and Lenore Sherman. Sherman is majoring in animal science. She is enrolled in Cornell's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
