Biography

At Cornell
Peleggi continued to be a solid presence for the Big Red during her junior season, posting the second most victories on the foil squad. She finished the year with a record of 20-24, before going 8-8 at the NCAA Regionals and finishing in 13th place. Peleggi had a solid sophomore season, finishing with an 8-10 (.800) record for the foil squad. At the 2009 IFA championships, she placed 10th overall in pool-C with a 2-8 record. Peleggi posted a 13-30 record (.302) during her rookie campaign, including a mark of 3-10 in Ivy League competition. She helped the foil squad to an eighth place finish at the IFA championships after taking eighth in the C division with a 3-2 record.

Prior to Cornell
Peleggi was a member of the Gristmill Fencing Club, where she was coached by Hope Konecny and achieved a USFA rating of D. She took first place in foil at the RPI Frank Collins Team Tournament in both 2006 and 2007. She also finished third overall in epee at that same tournament in 2007. She participated in the National Junior Olympics in 2006. Peleggi took fourth place in scholastic women’s foil for the Adirondack region at the 2005 Empire State Games and improved the following summer to win the bronze medal.
 
Personal
Analise Francis Peleggi is the daughter of Nunzio and Kathleen Peleggi and she has a younger brother. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
