Biography

At Cornell
Junior (2011-12): 
Speer ranked second on the saber squad with 37 victories, posting a record of 37-30 overall and a mark of 5-15 at the Ivy League tournament. Speer went on to place 13th at the NCAA Regionals and was considered for an at-large berth to the NCAA Championships. 

Sophomore (2010-11): Speer had a solid sophomore season, posting the most wins on the saber squad with a record of 29-22 overall. She finished the Ivy League tournament with a mark of 6-12, including a perfect 3-0 performance against Brown. Speer placed 20th at the NCAA Regionals with a record of 3-9.

Freshman (2009-10): Speer was one of the top fencers for the Big Red during her rookie season, ranking second on the saber squad, and third overall on the team, with a record of 37-17 (.685). She finished in ninth place at the NCAA Regionals, just missing the cut to advance to the NCAA tournament.

At Wakefield Country Day School
Speer fenced all four years at Wakefield Country Day School. She took third place at the 2008 USFA North America Cup – E Division II, after placing fifth in the 2008 Division III tournament. Speer also won five straight Virginia Saber Championships from 2005 to 2009.

Personal
Audrey Blair Speer is the daughter of Jeffrey and Diana Speer. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
