Ellinger saw action in one match during her first season with the Big Red, dropping a bout against Brandeis.

Ellinger fenced for two years, earning one varsity letter at Dana Hall School. She also lettered twice in cross country.

Christina Anne Ellinger is the daughter of Vernon and Deborah Ellinger and she has one younger sister. Her father graduated from Cornell in 1976. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
