As a Junior (2020-21)

• Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 

As a sophomore (2019-20)

• Went 30-29 for the season with a 3-5 record at the Ivy League Round Robin and a 6-6 record at the NCAA Regional.
• Placed 18th overall in saber at the NCAA Northeast Regional with a -2 touch differential.
• Posted a 3-0 record against Yale as she completed the Penn Elite Invitational with a 7-7 record.

As a freshman (2018-19)

• Second-Team All-American.
• Took sixth place overall in the saber competition at the NCAA Tournament with 16 victories and a +21 touch differential.
• Finished sixth at the 2019 NCAA Northeast Regional tournament.
• Went 14-9 on the season and picked up five wins at the Ivy League Fencing Round-Robin.
• Was undefeated against Brandeis (3-0), University of Incarnate Word (3-0) and Yale (3-0).
• Posted a winning record vs. UNC (2-1) and Harvard (2-1).
 

Prior to Cornell

• Fenced for 10 years with ALLE Fencing Club.
• Silver medal, 2015, Cadet World Cup (Eislingen, Germany)
• Bronze medalist, 2015, Division 1A National Championships (San Jose, Calif.)
• National Champion, 2014, Youth 14 National Championships (Columbus, Ohio)
• Quarterfinalist, 2018, Junior North American Cup (Virginia Beach, Va.)
• Round of 16, 2016, Division 1 North American Cup (St. Louis, Mo.)
• Round of 16, 2016, Cadet and Junior Junior Olympic National Championships (Cleveland, Ohio)
 

Personal

• Esther Bentolila is the daughter of Samuel Bentolila and Ronit Cohen Bentolila and she has two younger sisters.
• Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
