Biography

At Cornell
Junior (2014-15): Isby did not compete during her junior season with the Big Red.

Sophomore (2013-14): Isby did not fence during her sophomore season.

Freshman (2012-13): Isby did not fence in competition during her rookie season. 

Prior to Cornell
Isby competed for Empire United Fencing. She also lettered four times in swimming at Scarsdale HS.

Personal
Laura DeWolfe Isby is the daughter of Michael Isby and Laura Fratt ’81 and has one older brother, Alexander ’15. In addition to her mother and her brother, she has numerous relatives who currently attend or have previously attended Cornell, including her grandfather, CK Poe Fratt ’53, who played football and won the 1953 Pop Warner Most Valuable Player Award, and her great-grandfather, Norbert Fratt ’28, who also played football. Isby is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
