Biography

At Cornell 
Junior (2011-12): Napolitano went 5-10 in epee during her junior season. She picked up a pair of victories against MIT and also won bouts against Hunter, Haverford and Wellesley. 

Sophomore (2010-11): Napolitano finished her sophomore season with a record of 9-6, including a mark of 4-6 in the Ivy League. She was a perfect 2-0 against Brown and went 1-1 against Yale. She also picked up a victory against Penn. Napolitano also posted perfect marks of 3-0 against Drew University and 2-0 against Sacred Heart.

Freshman (2009-10): Napolitano saw action in one match during her first season with the Big Red, dropping a bout against Harvard in the Ivy League tournament.

At Simsbury HS
Napolitano fenced for four years and Simsbury high school. She won the 2009 Connecticut State Championship in the epee, after taking eighth place in the foil in the 2008 tournament. Napolitano was also a member of the Farmington Valley Fencing Academy, earning Fencer of the Year honors in 2007.

Personal
Maria Regina Napolitano is the daughter of Anthony and Susan Napolitano and she has two younger sisters. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
