As a Senior (2020-21)

• Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a Junior (2019-20)

• Finished the season with a 41-31 (.569) record competing in saber.
• Went 6-9 at the Ivy League Round Robin.
• Posted a 9-3 record at the Penn Elite Invitational, a 7-2 record at the Brandeis Invitational and a 13-10 mark at the Northwestern Duals.

As a Sophomore (2018-19)

• Served as assistant captain as a sophomore.
• Led the saber squad with 33 wins.
• Posted the third highest winning percentage on the team (.660).
• Picked up 10 wins at the Ivy League Fencing Round-Robin, posting a record of 10-5 (+21) to finish seventh overall in the saber competition.
• Placed 14th at the 2019 NCAA Northeast Regional tournament.
 

As a Freshman (2017-18)

• Led the saber squad and posted the third highest winning percentage among all fencers (.556).
• Competed in the final two invitational events of the season, posting winning records at both the Philadelphia Invitational (10-8) and the Ivy League Fencing Round-Robin (10-8).
 

Prior to Cornell

• A member of Premier Fencing Academy.
• Took eighth place in the Junior Saber Competition at the 2015 Summer Nationals.
• Finished in 18th place at the 2015 Division 1 Championship.
• Placed 23rd at both the 2014 Cadet World Cup in Germany and the 2014 Cadet World Cup in Poland.
 

Personal

• Marigot K. Fackenthal is the daughter of Richard and Ayako Fackenthal and she has one sister.
• Fackenthal is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
