Biography

At Cornell
Junior (2011-12): Rattray was named the team’s Most Improved Fencer Award after finishing her junior campaign with a record of 17-41. She also took 30th at the NCAA Regional tournament.

Sophomore (2010-11): Rattray finished her sophomore season with a record of 7-19 overall and a mark of 2-1 in the Ivy League, as she competed against Brown in the conference tournament. During the regular season, she went 2-1 against both Boston College and Drew University and picked up a single victory against North Carolina. Rattray participated in the NCAA Regionals, placing 31st in saber with a record of 2-7 on the day.

Freshman (2009-10): Rattray was the only member of the Big Red to compete in two weapons during the 2009-10 season. She opened the year with the foil squad, going 3-9, before switching to the saber, where she posted a record of 3-19. She also competed in both weapons at the Ivy League tournament.

At Marymount School of New York
Rattray fenced for five years at Marymount School of New York, lettering once and serving as team captain as a senior. She also played soccer for two years.  
Personal
McKellen Kimura Rattray is the daughter of Tim and Carol Rattray and she has one older and one younger brother. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
