Biography

As a junior (2016-17)
• Led the saber squad and was sixth overall on the team in victories (36).
• Finished the season with a record of 36-39 (.480).
• Had a solid 11-3 performance at thee Brandeis Invitational.
• Went a perfect 4-0 at the Cornell Invitational.
• Placed 19th overall at the 2017 NCAA Northeast Regional.

As a sophomore (2015-16)
• Competed in just two tournaments during her sophomore season.
• Earned a ninth place finish in the saber competition at the Temple Open.
• Posted a 15-4 record at the Vassar Invitational to lead the Cornell saber squad at the event.

As a freshman (2014-15)
• Had an outstanding rookie season, leading the saber squad in wins with a record of 35-32.
• Also had the second best winning percentage on the squad at 52 percent.
• Had perfect outings vs. Haverford, CCNY, Tufts, Hunter, Boston College, Brandeis, and NJIT, to go along with winning efforts vs. Fairleigh Dickinson, Sacred Heart, Stevens, MIT, and Air Force. Following the season,
• Represented the Big Red in the fifth annual Korea-USA Elite Fencing Invitational (KUEFI), held in Gangwon, South Korea. 

Prior To Cornell
• A member of Cardinal Fencing Club.
• Participated in multiple national and international events. 
• Placed 13th at the 2013 Junior Olympic Championships, and seventh at the 2011 NAC.
• Earned a bronze medal at the 2012 Hong Kong Fencing Association U17 Championship, while finishing seventh overall at the 2012 Hong Kong Fencing Association U20 Championship.
• Finished third out of 89 competitors in her age group and weapon at the 2011 Summer National Fencing Championships in Reno.
• Entered the 2011 Summer National Fencing Championships ranked 29th but upset the 19th-ranked fencer and the sixth-ranked fencer to reach the semifinals, where she was fell to the eventual national champion.
• Was named first-team USA Fencing All-Academic Team. 
 
Personal
• Regina Sing-Lok Chen is the daughter of Virgil Chen and Winny Chow and she has one older brother.
• Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
