As a senior (2019-20)

• Did not appear in competiton for the Big Red.

As a junior (2018-19)

• Posted the third most wins for the epee squad (16) as a junior.
• Had a winning record vs. Cleveland State (1-0), UNC (2-1), Boston College (2-1), and St. John’s (2-1).
• Placed 28th at the 2019 NCAA Northeast Regional tournament.
 

As a sophomore (2017-18)

• Led the epee squad and ranked third on the team with 35 victories on the season (35-38).
• Finished with a .500 record or better at the Ohio State Elite Invitational (11-11) and the Philadelphia Invitational (12-6).  
 

As a freshman (2016-17)

• Had a stellar freshman campaign with the most wins in the rookie class (46).
• Finished with the second most wins on the epee squad, posting a record of 46-38 (.548).
• Posted the third most Ivy League wins on the team with a mark of 8-12.
• Was nearly perfect at the Cornell Invitational, going 6-1 on the day.
• Placed 73rd out of 208 competitors at the 2017 Junior Olympics.
• Placed 23rd overall at the 2017 NCAA Northeast Regional.

Prior to Cornell 

• Earned four varsity letters at Great Neck South High School.
• Served as team captain as a senior.
• Was the Nassau County Women's Epee Individual Champion in 2014 and 2015.
• Earned All-Long Island and first-team all-county honors in 2014 and 2015.
• Was given the Girls Varsity Club Interscholastic Athletics Outstanding Achievement Award in 2016 and was the team’s MVP as a junior and senior.
• A member of North Shore Fencers Club.
• Placed 10th in the Junior Women’s Epee competition at the 2016 Junior Olympics.
• Finished 12th in the Division II Women's Epee at the 2014 October North American Cup, after a 16th place finish in the Cadet Women's Epee competition at the 2013 December North American Cup.
• Won the bronze medal at the 2015-16 Maya Lawrence New Jersey Cup.

• Vera S. Lin is the daughter of Itsai Lin and Yen-Ling Yeh.
• Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
