At Cornell
As a sophomore (2016-17)
• Posted a 22-16 record as a sophomore.
• Had the highest winning percentage on the saber squad, winning .579 percent of her bouts.
• Went 12-3 at the Vassar Invitational.   

As a freshman (2015-16)
• Led the saber squad as a rookie with a 39-23 record overall (6-11 Ivy).
• The 39 wins were the most among Big Red freshmen and ranked fourth overall on the team.
• Opened the season with a bronze medal at the Temple Open and went on to place fifth at the NCAA Northeast Regional to qualify for the NCAA Tournament. 
• Finished in 24th place with seven victories at the 2016 NCAA Championship.
• Posted three top 10 wins at NCAAs, defeating Notre Dame's Francesca Russo (sixth), Margaret McDonald (eighth) and Penn’s Arabella Uhry (10th).
 
Prior to Cornell
• Earned four varsity letters in fencing at Montgomery High School.
• A two-year team captain.
• Won a silver medal at both the 2012 and 2013 New Jersey State Championship, while helping her team to a pair of District 2 team championships.
• Was the New Jersey Cup women's saber fencing champion in 2014 and was on the second place saber squad in 2013.
• Won a bronze medal at the 2015 Individual State Fencing Championship, as well as a bronze medal at the 2015 Team State Fencing Championship.
• Earned an All-State second team selection, as well as a first-team all-conference, first-team All-Packet, and first-team All-Star Ledger selection as a senior.
• B-level fencer.
• Was also a member of the Bergen Fencing Club.
 
Personal
• Zoee Uma D’Costa is the daughter of Walter D’Costa and Shobha Iyer and she has one younger sister.
• Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
