Sophomore (2015): Altamirano saw action in four games during her sophomore season, playing against Delaware, Sacred Heart, Holy Cross and Lehigh.

Freshman (2014): Altamirano saw action in two games during her rookie season, playing against Lehigh and Yale.
 
At Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School
Altamirano was a four-year letter winner at Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School, serving as team captain during her senior season. She was named first-team All-Southwest Preparatory Conference and was selected to the All-South Zone Southwest Preparatory Conference team in 2013. Altamirano also lettered four times in swimming and in lacrosse. She was an all-district selection in lacrosse and helped her team to the Central Texas District Championship three consecutive seasons.

Personal
Alexandra Lynn Altamirano is the daughter of Virgilio and Tricia Altamirano and she has one older sister. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
