Alli is a natural defender with impressive leadership skills. She plays with a lot of poise and we have been impressed with her communication skills on the field, her defensive understanding, and her ability to help organize the backfield. We are confident that as she matures as a player that combination of skills will be incredibly valuable to our program.

At Canton HS
Guenthner was a four year letter winner at Canton HS, serving as team captain during her junior and senior seasons. She led her team to three Hockomock League championships (2007, ‘09, ‘10) and three Massachusetts DII South Sectional Championships (2007, ‘09, ‘10), as well as a Massachusetts DII state finals appearance in 2007. Guenthner was a two-time Hockomock League all-star as well as a Boston Herald All-Scholastic selection and a Patriot Ledger All-Scholastic selection in 2010. She was also a two-time Canton Citizen all-star and a two-time Canton Journal all-star.

Personal
Allison Marie Guenthner is the daughter of Mark and Carol Guenthner and she has an older sister and a younger brother. Her older sister, Erica, played field hockey for Catholic University. Guenthner is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
