At Cornell
An explosive forward that has always possessed great speed, Gulotta has worked very hard at developing her stick skills, and that improvement was evident during the spring season. Gulotta started all 16 games during her sophomore season and finished the year ranked second on the team in goals (5) and points (11). She registered the game-winner vs. Brown and tallied one assist on the season. She was named the Ivy League Player of the Week on Sept. 6 after helping Cornell get off to a 2-0 start to the season by defeating Lehigh and Lafayette. Gulotta scored the first goal of the year for the Big Red and then assisted on the game-winner as Cornell defeated the Mountain Hawks, 3-1. In the very next contest, Gulotta provided a much-needed insurance goal early in the second half vs. Lafayette as the Big Red defeated the Leopards for the first time since the 2001 season by a score of 2-0. Gulotta had an outstanding freshman season in which she earned two Ivy League Rookie of the Week awards and one selection as the Player of the Week. She started all 17 games for the Big Red and scored four goals and added three assists to rank fifth on the team with 11 points.

At Rye HS
A powerhouse scorer, Gulotta led Rye HS in scoring with 25 goals during the 2004 season, good enough for second best in the county. An all-league, all-section and all-state field hockey selection, Gulotta was chosen to be a member of the 2004 Journal News all-star field hockey team. She was also a member of the Hudson Valley Futures team.

Personal
Brenna Ann Gulotta is the daughter of Steve and Alana Gulotta. She has a twin brother, Steven, who attends Ithaca College. Gulotta is enrolled in Cornell’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
