At Cornell

In his first season with the Big Red, Orozco helped coach the team to a 4-3 Ivy League record for a third-place league finish. Cornell closed the 2019 season with 10 wins and seven losses, including a historic win over Syracuse (first victory at home, first win since 2007).

After the Covid-19 pandemic stripped Cornell of its 2020 season, Orozco returned in 2021 to help lead the Big Red to a 8-9 record in a season that would prove to be a record-breaking year, despite bringing in 16 newcomers with no NCAA experience under their belts.

Caroline Ramsey finish fourth in the NCAA in points per game with 2.35. Her 18 goals in 2021 are the most by a member of the Big Red in a single season and her 40 points (18 goals, four assists) in 2021 also ranks #1 amongst Cornellians in a single season. Menawhile, Bridget Mahoney's 18 assists are the most in a single season in the history of Cornell field hockey and she finished the season ranked No. 1 in the NCAA with 1.06 assists per game. Kate MacGillis served as the team's primary inserter for the second half of the season and finished the year ranked second in the NCAA in assists per game with .80.
