At Cornell
Junior (2014):
Schaeffler saw action in seven games, making five starts, during her junior season. She posted a record of 3-2 to go along with a 1.62 goals-against average and a .550 save percentage. Schaeffler helped the Big Red to a pair of Ivy League victories as she made one save to shutout Yale and stopped a season-high three shots in a 2-1 overtime decision at Columbia. She also earned a 3-2 win vs. Monmouth with a pair of saves. Following the season, she was named to the 2014 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.

Sophomore (2013): Schaeffler saw action in six games during her sophomore season, making five starts. She posted a 3-2 record overall (1-1 Ivy) and finished the year with a 2.75 goals-against average and a .647 save percentage. Schaeffler posted a season-high nine saves in a 3-2 victory over Columbia and finished with eight saves in a 3-0 loss to Yale. She also had three saves vs. Drexel and two saves against Colgate. Following the season, she was named to the 2013 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.

Freshman (2012): Schaeffler saw action in just one game during her rookie season, getting the nod in the season opener at Lock Haven. She lost the 2-1 overtime decision, but was impressive with 10 saves. Following the season, she was named to the 2012 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.

At Dulaney HS
Schaeffler was a three time letter winner at Dulaney high school, and led the Lions to three Maryland 4A Regional championships and three appearances in the 4A State semifinal games. As a junior, she took her team to a state championship for the first time in 26 years. Schaeffler was a four-time Baltimore County All-Academic Team selection and was named a Scholar Athlete. She won the tam’s Coaches’ Unsung Hero Award as a captain in 2011 and was a Baltimore County honorable mention selection in 2010. As a member of the Capitol Pegasus field hockey club, Shaeffler won a National Club championship in 2011. She also ran track and field for two years and played basketball for one season.

Personal
Elizabeth Anne Schaeffler is the daughter of Kurt and Allison Schaeffler and she has one younger sister. She is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
