• NFHCA National Academic Squad selection (2014, 2016, 2017)
 
As a junior (2017)
• Started all 16 games in the Big Red midfield.
• The sixth leading scorer on the team with seven points on the year.
• Scored twice on the season, with both goals providing the game-winner for the Big Red.
• Tipped in a penalty corner shot in the 52nd minute to lift Cornell to a 2-1 victory over Dartmouth.
• Scored in the fifth minute of the season-opener to hand the Big Red a 1-0 win vs. Ohio.
• Finished the year with three assists.
• Named to the 2017 ZAG Field Hockey/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.

As a sophomore (2016)
• Played in 17 games, making one start.
• Finished the year with nine points on three goals and three assists.
• Established career-highs with four points and two assists in the season finale vs. Dartmouth.
• Put 7-of-8 shots on goal during the season.
• Named to the 2016 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.

As a freshman (2014)
• Had a solid rookie season, seeing action in all 16 games and making six starts.
• Finished the year with two goals and two assists for six points.
• Opened the season with a goal and an assist in her first-ever start at Colgate, and added one goal vs. Holy Crosse and one assist at Lehigh. 
• Named to the 2014 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.

At Canyon Crest Academy
• A four-year letter winner at Canyon Crest Academy, DePetro was named the 2013 CIF-San Diego Section Field Hockey Player of the Year in 2013.
• During her career, she helped her squad to the 2013 CIF-San Diego Section Division II Championship after a pair of runner-up finishes in 2011 and 2012 and a quarterfinal finish in 2010.
• A Futures' Elite selection, she was a two-time All-CIF-San Diego Section first-team selection and a two-time Palomar League first-team choice.
• The 2012 Palomar League Player of the Year after helping her team to the Palomar League championship.
• Named to the Union Tribune All-Academic Team twice and was a Valley League second-team selection in 2011 after earning honorable mention in 2010.
• Served as team captain during her senior season and was a two-time team MVP after being named the team’s offensive MVP as a sophomore.
• Also lettered three times in soccer and twice in softball, earning all-league honors in both sports.

Personal
• Gabrielle Maria DePetro is the daughter of Steve and Mona DePetro and she has one younger brother.
• Father Steve was a two-time All-American wrestler at Northwestern.
• She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
