As a senior (2019)

• Started all 17 games for her final season
• Earned a single defensive save against Saint Joseph’s
• Notched one assist at Colgate

As a junior (2018)

• Started all 17 games on the season.
• Tallied two defensive saves on the year.
• Registered her first career goal with the game-winner vs. Bryant.
• Named to the 2018 ZAG Field Hockey/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.

As a sophomore (2017)

• Started all 16 games in the back, helping Cornell to the third-best defense in the Ivy League.
• Named to the 2017 ZAG Field Hockey/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.

As a freshman (2016)

• Saw significant playing time as a rookie, seeing action in 12 games.
• Earned her first career start at Rutgers.
• Helped the Big Red defensive that allowed just 6.0 shots on goal per game and a mere 4.1 penalty corners per contest.
• Named to the 2016 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad as a Scholar of Distinction.

Prior to Cornell

• Lettered four times at Hickory High School, serving as team captain her senior year.
• Was named her team’s MVP and was the 2015 Chesapeake Sports Club Field Hockey Player of the Year.
• Named first-team all-conference, first-team All-Tidewater, and second-team all-region in 2015.
• As a member of Saints Hockey Rocks, she won a gold medal at the National Festival Tournament and took silver at both the Disney Showcase, and the National Club Championship.
• Was also selected to participate in the Futures National Championship.

Personal

• Kristen Sarah Ferguson is the daughter of David and Jill Ferguson and she has two brothers.
• She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the SC Johnson College of Business.
