Career
Mayers earned her third consecutive selection to the NFHCA Division I All-Mideast Region second-team following her senior season, becoming just the fourth Big Red player to be named a Regional All-American three times in a career. Mayers was a three-time second-team All-Ivy selection, after an honorable mention selection as a rookie to become just the eighth Big Red field hockey player to earn four All-Ivy honors in a career. As a senior, the forward led the Big Red in goals (6) and points (16) for the third straight season and graduated as the program's leader in career points (99) and career goals (42). Half of her goals during the 2017 campaign proved to be the game-winners, including the overtime tally vs. Brown, which also gave Mayers the career scoring title.
 
As a junior (2016)
• Was named a second-team All-Mideast Region selection and a second-team All-Ivy selection following the season.
• Her 12 goals on the season were good for ninth in Cornell history, while her 31 points ranks third all-time.
• Finished the year ranked fifth in the Ivy League in points per game (1.82), fifth in goals per game (0.71), and sixth in assists per game (0.41).
• Her 1.82 points per game ranked 28th in the nation.
• In conference games only, Mayers led the circuit with 1.29 goals per game and was second overall in points with 2.71 per contest.
• A dynamic player and talented goal scorer, Mayers took her game to the next level as a junior, registering a career- and team-high seven assists.
• She registered at least one point in 11-of-17 games and Cornell went 9-2 in those contests.
 
As a sophomore (2015)
• Named a second-team All-Mideast Region All-American and a second-team All-Ivy selection following her sophomore season.
• Led the Big Red offensively, tying the school record with 14 goals on the season.
• Also added three assists for a career-high 31 points, good for third overall in Cornell history for a single season.
• Finished the year ranked 13th in the nation in goals per game (0.82) and was 23rd overall in points per game (1.82).
• Posted three game-winning goals on the season, including a late goal vs. Harvard to hand Cornell a 1-0 win over the Crimson.
• Was selected as the team’s offensive MVP following the season.

As a freshman (2014)
• An honorable mention All-Ivy selection after a breakout rookie season, ranked second on the team in both goals (10) and points (21).
• Named the team’s Offensive MVP.
• Half of her goals came in Ivy League play, including the overtime game-winner against Columbia.
• Was named the conference Rookie of the Week twice during the season, becoming Cornell's first two-time winner since Hannah Balleza during the 2010 season.
• Was also named the ECAC Rookie of the Week on Sept. 30 for her two-goal effort vs. the Lions.
• Registered at least one point in eight of 15 contests, finishing the season ranked fourth in the Ivy League and 36th in the nation in goals per game (0.67).
• Was also 61st overall in the country in points per contest (1.40).

Prior to Cornell
• Earned four varsity letters in field hockey at Parsippany high school, earning team MVP honors as a junior and senior.
• Was a two-time Star Ledger Field Hockey Player of the Year and a two-time Daily Record Field Hockey Player of the Year.
• Named both a Star Ledger first-team all-conference selection and a Star Ledger first-team all-county selection in both 2012 and 2013.
• Earned Star Ledger first-team all-state honors as a senior after being a second-team selection in 2012.
• A Futures Elite Player in 2012, she won AAU Junior Olympics medals in 2009 and 2011 and won National Future championships in those same years.
• Also lettered twice in track and field.

Personal
• Krysten Tamara Amanda Mayers is the daughter of Leroy and Claire Mayers and she has two sisters and one brother.
• Her sister Krystal plays field hockey for VCU and her uncle Peter Bailey attended Cornell.
• Mayers is enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
