As a senior (2019)

  • Started all 17 games on the season
  • Finished with a 1.82 goals against average and 0.762 save percentage on the season
  • Totaled 10 wins for a 0.588 win percentage
  • Notched 96 saves with a season-high of 15 saves against California
  • Named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year for the week of October 14; named to the Ivy League’s Weekly Honor Roll for three different weeks

As a junior (2018)

  • Named All-Ivy honorable mention.

  • Finished the year ranked sixth in the nation with 7.68 saves per game.
  • Ranked 10th overall in the NCAA with a .764 save percentage.
  • Posted five 10-save games on the year, four of which came during Ivy League play.
  • Set a career-high with 18 saves vs. No. 5 Princeton, the most ever for a Big Red goalie on Marsha Dodson Field, and the most for any Cornell netminder since Mel Jue stopped 19 at Albany on Sept. 6, 2008.
  • Earned the team's Defensive MVP Award following the season.
  • Named to the 2018 ZAG Field Hockey/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.

As a sophomore (2017)

  • Named second-team All-Ivy after a stellar sophomore season.
  • Emerged as the Big Red's starting goalie five games into the season.
  • Finished the year ranked first in the Ivy League and fifth in the NCAA with a .795 save percentage.
  • Ranked second in the conference and 20t in the nation with a 1.49 goals-against average.
  • Opened the year with a shutout streak of 291:09, the second longest in program history.
  • Posted a record of 7-5.

As a freshman (2016)

  • Played in nine games and started the final four contests of the season. 
  • Posted a perfect 4-0 record in her starts, including a six-save performance as the Big Red upset No. 13 Princeton in double overtime.
  • Finished the year with a 1.33 goals-against average and a .720 save percentage.
  • Over the course of her four starts, she posted a 1.2 goals-against average and saved .783 percent of the shots she faced, while making 4.5 saves per game.
  • Henry was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week on Nov. 7 after she made five saves and allowed just one goal in the season finale vs. Dartmouth.

Prior to Cornell

  • A three-year letter winner at Friends' Central School.
  • Closed her senior year with a .910 save percentage, good for first overall out of 111 area high school goalies.
  • Was named her team’s MVP, earned first-team All-Southeastern PA, first-team all-league, and first-team All-Main Line as a senior.
  • Named to the Philafieldhockey Senior All-Star Team and participated for Team USA at the 2015 Pan American Maccabi Games in Santiago, Chile.
  • As a junior, she was named first-team All-League, second-team All-Main Line, and was her team’s MVP.
  • Lettered four times in softball for Friends' Central School.
  • As a member of the WC Eagles, she won the U19 National Club Championship in 2015, and participated in two National Indoor tournaments in 2013 and 2014.

  • Madeline Claire Henry is the daughter of Todd and Catherine Henry and she has one younger brother.
