As a senior (2019)

  • Started 15 of 16 games throughout her final season
  • Finished with one goal and three assists
  • Her seasonal three assists matched a career-high from the 2018 season
  • Contributed to two of three goals against Lock Haven
  • Named to the Ivy League’s weekly honor roll once
  • Played in the Division I Senior Game

As a junior (2018)

  • Named All-Ivy second team.
  • Ranked second on the team in points (9), goals (3) and assists (3), all of which were career highs.
  • Started all 17 games for the Big Red.
  • Finished the season with eight games in which she played every minute, while registering 60+ minutes in six others.
  • Scored against Lock Haven, Rider and Colgate, registering the only goals scored by the Big Red in those games.
  • Posted a career-high two assists in Cornell's season ending victory vs. Dartmouth, as well as earning the assist on the Big Red's only goal vs. Lafayette.
  • Earned the team’s Sportsmanship, Leadership and Determination Award following the season.

As a sophomore (2017)

  • Named All-Ivy honorable mention after a solid sophomore season in the midfield.
  • Played a vital role on the Big Red's defensive scheme, while also providing an offensive threat.
  • Started all 16 games.
  • Finished the year with one goal and one assist.

As a freshman (2016)

  • Gained more and more playing time as the season progressed, seeing action in all 17 games and starting seven of the Big Red's final nine contests.
  • Played more than 50 minutes in four games during the year, including each of Cornell's final three games.
  • Registered one goal on the season, scoring at Brown.  
  • Awarded the team’s Class of '91 Cup, which is chosen by the senior class and given annually to the player with the most promising future.
  • Also given the team’s Most Improved Player award.
  • Named to the 2016 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.

Prior to Cornell

  • Earned five varsity letters at North Shore High School and was named a Northeast Regional All-American as a senior captain in 2015.
  • Was a four-time all-state and all-county selection.
  • Also played lacrosse at North Shore and was named an Academic All-American, and earned all-league honors.
  • As a member of the Strong Island Field Hockey club, she participated in the AAU Junior Olympics and the National Futures Championship. Conklin has participated in Futures, Futures Elite, and Futures Level One Training.  

Personal

  • Madalyn Nicole Conklin is the daughter of Michael and Holly-Lynne Conklin and she has two sisters and one brother.
  • Her father, Michael, played baseball for New York Institute of Technology.
  • Conklin is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
