Biography

At Cornell
Sophomore (2012):
Rosselot saw action in nine games during her first season with the Big Red. She took one shot, putting it on goal, at Penn State.

Prior to Cornell
A former member of the Under-21 Chilean National field hockey squad, Rosselot comes to Cornell after spending one season playing golf for the University of Cincinnati. As a prep student, she played field hockey for St. Margaret's British School for Girls, where she was given her school’s Best Player in Hockey award and was named captain of the final All-British School field hockey tournament. An all-around outstanding athlete, she won many distinctions, including MVP awards for the cross county, golf and volleyball teams. She also won the school’s Sports Spirit Award and the school’s Excellence Award for athletic achievement. Rosselot placed in the top-three in the 800-meter race at the All-British Schools competition, including a first-place finish in 2007. She also helped her volleyball team to a second place finish at the 2008 ABS Association tournament.

Personal
Maria Florencia Rosselot is the daughter of Juan Gerardo Rosselot and Andrea Cristina Figueroa and she has six brothers and two sisters. Her three oldest brothers, Gerardo, Luis Ignacio and Emilio, race rally cars and have won several national and international tournaments. Luis Ignacio was the South American Champion and has twice been named the Chilean Automobile Sports Man of the Year. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
