Biography

At Cornell
An incredibly athletic goalie with good range in the circle and the ability to make the dramatic save, Prescott saw action in eight games as a sophomore, making six starts. She finished the year ranked first in the Ivy League with an .800 save percentage and fifth in the conference with a 1.85 goals against average. Prescott saw action in four games as a freshman, making three starts. She made eight saves and allowed five goals for a 1.62 GAA and a .615 save percentage.

At Lake-Lehman HS
Prescott, a second-team all-state goalkeeper in 2003 and 2004, helped her team win the 2002 Pennsylvania AA state championship before posting an undefeated regular season to claim the 2003 Wyoming Valley Conference title. Prescott played for the Valley Styx team in the summer of 2005, helping it capture the U-19 national championship in the A pool at the National Indoor Tournament.

Personal
Shannon Leigh Prescott is the daughter of Bob and Mary Ellen Prescott and has an older sister. She is enrolled in Cornell’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
